Francisco is a New York based photographer from Ecuador. His interest in photography began during the summer of 2007 after spending time with a group of graffiti artists in Brazil. Deeply inspired by their dedication and success, he has since taken those influences to evolve as a photographer.

While working as a graphic designer/ art director in the garment industry, shooting the streets of New York became a creative outlet beyond a corporate setting. It was an escape which allowed him to organically fall into the genre of street photography.

In 2017 he decided to travel throughout Latin America to look into his identity and elevate his love for photography. Through curiosity and a humanist approach, Francisco has since been traveling globally to expand his body of work with the intent to find commonalities we share beyond social and political borders worldwide. Inspired by street culture and everyday life throughout urban environments, his travels has allowed him to connect deeper with the cultures and diversity that make up New York City.

His work has been featured in the Museum of the City of New York and most recently in the Warner Bros. film, In the Heights.
